Broward Artist Denies Major Record deal to remain independent

Recently in an interview with 365 magazine. Stunna lous shares with us why he is choosing to remain a independent artist.
Stunna Lous born july 2 1995, is a Hip hop trap and R&B artist/Producer from Deerfield beach Florida, he has had several major co-signs throughout his career from the likes of Funk master Flex, island Def jam, Interscope records, Dave Tru Story, Dj bigga Ranking & several others.

He has been performing since the age of 15 at various venues, schools, and universities across his home state.
His work has been noticed over the years and eventually at the beginning of 2017 stunna was offered a multi album 5/6 year recording deal with an unconfirmed sign bonus that was estimated between 500 thousand to 1.5 million. (Official numbers haven't been released)
In the interview stunna was asked the official date he was due to sign and exactly what the deal was worth.
He stated the company he originally planned to work with (interscope) had offered a similar deal with a smaller sign on bonus but terms couldn't be reached to where both parties where satisfied with the agreement. Stunna also stated he wanted to go over all of his options to be sure he was placed In the right situation to grow.
We reached out to Atlantic to ask about Stunna Lous and why an agreement couldn't be reached. Representatives for the label stated "it was in best interest for Stunna to feel like joining with us is the most accurate and best move for not only himself but us as well, his career is in the early stages and negotiations are still in process".
Although terms haven't been met, stunna has gained notoriety from several other companies who are interested to have him.
All in all he is deciding to remain independent and focus on his label T2KT/OMO Records to which he is the CEO. In my opinion I believe independent is the best choice.
